About Us

Since 2020, Tabor Farms has been growing more than just food. Founded by Pastor Elvis Bowman of GMTCC, the farm was created to address food inequities in Fort Worth, especially in the Stop 6 area, where access to fresh produce is limited. Our mission is to provide clean, organic food while building stronger, healthier communities.

We offer training and job opportunities in urban farming to empower minority neighborhoods and create pathways for growth. Through partnerships with COACT North TexasGrow Southeast, and Texas Health Resources, Tabor Farms tackles food and community inequities through sustainable agriculture, volunteer-powered programs, and hands-on education. Every harvest contributes to hope, equity, and the revitalization of our neighborhoods.
