About Us
Since 2020, Tabor Farms has been growing more than just food. Founded by Pastor Elvis Bowman of GMTCC, the farm was created to address food inequities in Fort Worth, especially in the Stop 6 area, where access to fresh produce is limited. Our mission is to provide clean, organic food while building stronger, healthier communities.
We offer training and job opportunities in urban farming to empower minority neighborhoods and create pathways for growth. Through partnerships with COACT North Texas, Grow Southeast, and Texas Health Resources, Tabor Farms tackles food and community inequities through sustainable agriculture, volunteer-powered programs, and hands-on education. Every harvest contributes to hope, equity, and the revitalization of our neighborhoods.

Our Mission
Tabor Farms envisions urban farming as a powerful catalyst for community transformation. Our mission is to confront healthy, organic food inequities by cultivating sustainable harvests that foster a healthy relationship with food and community. Moving towards a transformative sustainable future.
